COACHING POLICIES

Description

The relationship between Coach and Client is Co-Creative, meaning both are equals in the coaching process. The first step in the Co-Creation process is the development of personal or business goals. Next, the strategy is drafted with an action plan. Then, Coach holds Client accountable to stay on track, provide guidance and achieve those goals. In committing to life coaching with me, you acknowledge the following:

This journey will require a serious commitment to yourself and a mutual respect between client and coach. The policies outlined here are meant to foster those things. Emergencies and special circumstances will be handled on a case by case basis, but generally speaking, the policies apply to ALL services that are offered.

Responsibilities of Client

  • Client provides the Session Agenda(s) and is fully present during coaching sessions.

  • Client takes ownership of his/her own physical, mental and emotional well-being, decisions, choices, actions and results.

  • Client will communicate with integrity, be open to honest encouragement and create the time and energy to participate fully in the program.

  •  Client accepts the fact that coaching is not to be used as a substitute for professional advice by legal, mental, medical or other qualified professionals and will seek independent professional guidance for such matters

  •  Client understands that coaching does not involve the diagnosis or treatment of mental disorders as defined by the American Psychiatric Association. Client understands that coaching is not a substitute for counseling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care or substance abuse treatment. If Client is currently in therapy or under the care of a mental health professional, Dash Coaching Services will not be able to accept you as a Client.

Scheduling/Cancellation

Every session is scheduled in advance. No shows, reschedule requests or cancellations received without adequate notice (at least 24 hours) will be charged full price for the missed session. Coach will attempt in good faith to reschedule the missed meeting. In exceptional circumstances Coach Dash may need to rearrange a coaching session. In those instances I will also give the client at least 24 hours notice where practical.

           Refund Policy

Choosing a Life Coach should not be a hasty decision – it’s important to find a good fit. Making sure we’re a good match is important to me and will greatly benefit us both - which is why I offer a free 15-minute Strategy Call. One-time sessions are non-refundable.

Confidentiality

Every session is completely confidential. This coaching relationship, as well as all information that the Client shares with the Coach is bound to confidential. I create a safe haven for brave souls making the big changes necessary to lead a fulfilling life. 

Payment Terms

Fees can be paid online by debit or credit card using the Paypal payments systems or by invoice.  Where receipts are requested by the client, they will be sent by e-mail unless otherwise requested. Fees are payable in advance of each coaching session unless otherwise agreed (Life Coaching may allow for payment on receipt of invoice). Where payment has not been received by Coach in advance of a coaching session Coach Dash is not obliged to provide the session

I am a Certified Life Coach, not a physician, psychiatrist or medical professional. I have been trained to provide guidance, emotional support and encouragement. I help clients reach their personal goals but I can’t diagnose or treat illnesses. Life coaching is not psychotherapy or a substitute for licensed counseling, medical advice or substance abuse treatment.
